Some of life's most valuable lessons are learned through experience and shared through stories.  I am currently working on several writing projects that draw from my experiences in law, military service, leadership, public speaking, health and fitness, family, and the pursuit of excellence.

My first book will explore the principles that have guided my life and career:  faith, disciplined preparation, learning from mistakes, sound judgment, resilience, humility, and service to others. It is written for anyone seeking to build a life of purpose and excellence, regardless of where they begin.  It is specifically designed to inspire people like me who do not come from privilege, need to overcome obstacles, and want to live the American Dream.   

Writing is another form of service.  I look forward to sharing these projects in the years ahead.
